| This Kit includes KL1116M 16-Port 17" LCD KVM Switch and CN5000 Remote IP Unit.ATEN's 16-port Hideaway, KL1116 series, is a control unit that allows access to multiple computers from a single KVM (keyboard, monitor, and mouse), console. A single KL1116 can control up to 16 computers. As many as 31 additional units can be daisy chained to each other, so that up to 512 (KL1116 + KH0116) computers can all be controlled from a KL1116.The KL1116 offers a space-saving, streamlined approach to KVM switch technology by integrating a keyboard, LCD monitor, and touchpad in a 1U Hideaway housing. The LCD module and keyboard module slide separately - you can see the video display, for example, while the keyboard and touchpad are conveniently out of the way.Access to any computer connected to the installation is easily accomplished either by means of a powerful, mouse driven, OSD (On Screen Display) menu system, or by entering Hotkey combinations from the keyboard. A convenient Auto Scan feature also permits automatic scanning and monitoring of the activities of all computers running on the installation one by one.The CN5000 is an IP-implemented KVM solution that allows network administrators to access computers from any station connected to the network, whether from the LAN, WAN, or the Internet. Network administrators can enjoy freedom from being bound to the server room; work from anywhere in the office, remote locations, or even from home! You can remotely access attached KVM switches, allowing remote control of the attached servers to perform many tasks with ease and speed, such as installing and running GUI applications, routine monitoring, BIOS level troubleshooting, system maintenance, system administration, and rebooting. It supports 10Base-T, 100Base-T, TCP/IP, and HTTP through the Java Client.The CN5000 provides 3-level password protection, advanced encryption technologies, sophisticated user filters and user management, stealth mode and automatic lockout to make sure that remote access is secure.
